  1. Sechelt Teenager Saves his Dad with CPR

    January 24

    On January 12, 2012, British Columbia Ambulance Service Paramedics at Sechelt, B.C. Emergency Station will recognize the split-second, life-saving actions of 19-year old Paul Jensen. The Sechelt youth will receive the Vital Link Humanitarian Medal for saving his father's life by performing successful cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

  3. Good Samaritans Recognized for Actions

    June 10

    On June 10, BCAS paramedics Allan Maciak and Dave Carlson presented Good Samaritan awards to the Ladner Leisure Center Lifeguards and a bystander, Matt Pomeroy, for their actions in rescuing a young patient who was found unconscious and unresponsive on the bottom of the swimming pool.
