Emergency Medical Assistants Education Fund

VICTORIA - Patients in British Columbia will benefit from a higher level of care, thanks to the Vancouver Foundation Emergency Medical Assistant Education Fund, a $3 million dollar bursary program designed to help paramedic students in BC cover the costs of upgrading their training. Established by the Emergency and Health Services Commission, the bursary represents one of the ways BCAS is working to improve access to relevant paramedic education and encourage candidates to pursue and further their career as a paramedic.
