HOUSTON - The BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) is enhancing ambulance coverage in Houston by ensuring that paramedics are standing by at the station to respond to calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
"Paramedics standing by at the station around the clock will result in better response times and improved patient care," said Bulkey Valley-Stikine MLA Dennis MacKAY. "This investment in pre-hospital care will benefit the overall health care system in Houston and surrounding areas."
