On May 28, 2008, BC Ambulance Service Superintendents Jason Twells and Les Cleverly, along with Emergency Medial Dispatcher Gord Conrad, recognized 13 year old Haley Latimer with a Good Samaritan Award. Haley was acknowledged for her quick thinking actions when she called 9-1-1 and effectively worked with EMD Gord Conrad to assist her mom after she had suffered a Grand Mal seizure and was unresponsive.
