This year, BC Ambulance Service will enter an ambulance in the Victoria Truck Light parade, an annul fundraiser coordinated by the Island Equipment Owners Association that collects food and donations in support of local food banks and charities.
Hundreds of people are expected to come out to watch the Christmas convoy wind its way through Victoria, during which time there will be an opportunity to donate food at designated drop off sites.
In the past nine years, the Truck Light Parade has experienced tremendous growth and success and is quickly becoming one of the major Christmas events in Victoria. The BCAS is proud to be a part of the parade this year.
