This April, five Osoyoos BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) paramedics participated in the 42nd annual Pitch in Canada week; a national initiative that sees millions of Canadians of all ages participate in local projects designed to clean-up, restore and/or preserve the environment. This year, BCAS acting Unit Chief Dan Lyver and paramedics Patricia Costa, Shawna Clark, Oriel Hathaway and Kelly Hathaway pitched in by cleaning the Sailing Club Park and other areas around their community.
