On June 14, 2008, the BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) Sicamous crew joined emergency service partners including the RCMP (and the rollover simulator), Eagle Valley Rescue Society, Sicamous and Malakwa Fire Departments, Shuswap Emergency Planning, Eagle Valley Sports and Leisure, Auxiliary Coast Guard and Citizens on Patrol at the Sicamous Safety Fair.
The event was an ideal opportunity for Sicamous residents to interact with paramedics and learn more about their important work through an interactive display including: CPR demonstrations, ambulance tours, face painting, a teddy bear clinic and a mock vehicle extrication with Eagle Valley Rescue.
