Thanks to the dedication and commitment of BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) employees to past, BCAS paramedics have been invited to participate as Tour Riders in the 2008 Cops for Cancer tours, an annual initiative designed to raise funds and awareness for pediatric cancer research and programs that support kids with cancer. This year, four tours will take place throughout the province including: the Tour de North, Tour de Valley, Tour de Rock and Tour de Coast, during which time BCAS paramedics will ride alongside law enforcement colleagues to provide medical escort for this worthwhile cause.
