Long Service Awards

October 16, 2008

On September 30, one hundred and nine BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) employees received Long Service Awards, in recognition of over 25 years of service to the BCAS and other government ministries. The annual Long Service awards were presented by Minister of Health Services George Abbott at the beautiful and historic Government House in Victoria.

Minister Abbott was joined by Executive Officer of the Emergency and Health Services Commission, Lee Doney and Executive Director of Provincial Programs, Les Fisher, who were on site to congratulate the recipients as they came off the stage. Speaking on behalf of the recipients was Glenn Braithwaite, District Supervisor in Kelowna, who thanked the recipient's families for their continued support.

Following the formal presentation, the recipients and their guests enjoyed a banquet dinner and dancing. Congratulations to all recipients for your years of dedicated service.
