BCAS Recognizes National Day of Mourning

April 28 marked the National Day of Mourning, an annual day of remembrance which provides the opportunity to acknowledge and honour those men and women that have been injured or lost their lives in work related incidents. During this time, BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) paid tribute to paramedics of the Service that have lost their lives in the line of duty, as well as their friends and families. This year, an in the Line of Duty Memorial Wall was erected at BCAS Headquarters as a tribute to the memories of those BCAS colleagues who have lost their lives serving the people of BC.
