On October 25, four BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) paramedics joined Emergency Medical Services partners in the 9-1-1 Fashion Show, held during the 8th Annual West Coast Women's Show at the TRADEX in Abbotsford. "It was great to have a chance to have a little fun with other emergency services personnel, while raising money for a good cause," said BCAS paramedic and model Ole Olsen.
This was the first year that BCAS paramedics were invited strut their stuff in the annual event, during which time they modelled clothes from Mountainview Harley Davidson as well as their BCAS dress uniforms. Proceeds from the "Hall of Flame" calendar sales support the B.C. Professional Firefighters' Burn Fund, and the CKNW Orphans' Fund on behalf of the BCAS.
