On May 5, BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) paramedics volunteered their time to assist McDonald's Restaurants with another successful McHappy Day. Taking part this year were BCAS paramedics from the Surrey station who helped raise funds for children's charities across Canada, including the Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation. The 17th edition of the company's longest-running and best-known national fundraising event raised more than $3 million dollars.
