Emergency Medical Call Takers (EMCTs) and Emergency Medical Dispatchers (EMDs) require a basic knowledge of:
- Hospitals within the province of BC
- Transportation routes including highways, major roads, bridges, and ferries in BC
- Cities and towns in BC
- BC Ambulance Service Districts and BC Provincial Health Authority boundaries
