Preparing for the Geography Exam

Emergency Medical Call Takers (EMCTs) and Emergency Medical Dispatchers (EMDs) require a basic knowledge of:

  • Hospitals within the province of BC
  • Transportation routes including highways, major roads, bridges, and ferries in BC
  • Cities and towns in BC
  • BC Ambulance Service Districts and BC Provincial Health Authority boundaries
