BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) is comprised of two divisions: the Operations Division and the Corporate Services Division.
Operations Division
The operations division includes BCAS' four geographic regions: Vancouver Island, Lower Mainland, Interior and Northern, as well as Dispatch Operations and Provincial Programs. Provincial Programs is comprised of those operations that cross all BCAS regions including: Provincial Scheduling, the Emergency Management Office, Fleet Operations and the Air Ambulance program. The Operations Division is responsible for providing the management and oversight necessary to support the provision of high quality and timely patient care to the people of British Columbia.
Corporate Services Division
The Corporate Services division is tasked with supporting the important work of the BCAS and includes: Communications, Finance, Human Resources, Information Management/Technology, Labour Relations, Medical Programs, Organizational Health and Safety and Policy and Planning.
