Subscribe to an RSS Feed using Firefox 2+

1) Navigate to a page that has an RSS feed available

When an RSS Feed is available, an RSS icon will appear in the address bar at the right side, allowing you to click it. You can also click on an RSS icon located on the page somewhere.

2) Subscribe to the Feed

In most cases, you will see a simplistic page with a listing of articles in the feed, as well as an option at the top of the page to subscribe. Firefox also usually gives you a drop-down menu, allowing you to add the feed to popular RSS readers. Unless you're familiar with any of these, ensure that "Live Bookmarks" is selected and click the "Subscribe Now" button. An "Add Live Bookmark" dialog box will open, allowing you to change the name of the feed, and where you want to store it. Click the "Add" button when you've completed your changes, if any.

3) View the Feed

Firefox treats RSS feeds as if they were folders containing bookmarks. If you've added the feed to your Bookmarks toolbar, just click it and it will expand, showing you all of the feed's entries which you can select to go to the article. If you've stored it in your Bookmarks folder somewhere, simply navigate to it like any other bookmark you've created; it will appear like a folder, showing you all of the feed's entries which you can select to go to the article.
